PRESIDIANS LEARN NEW WAYS OF LOGICAL REASONING AT THE MATH WEEK

At Presidium, Raj Nagar, we aim to provide experiential learning in the classroom through a myriad of activities and resources. Our students of grades 6 to 8 got yet another amazing experience of learning Mathematics in a fun way in the Maths Week observed in the school premises recently. They participated in various Activities like the formation of shapes and patterns using tan grams of Jodo Gyan Kit, addition and subtraction of single digit numbers using dice, calculation of elapse time using clock and model formation of a scale. The leaders of tomorrow enjoyed making riddles and puzzles and came up with innovative models. With such inventive methods and techniques, they were able to shred their fear of Maths and learn new ways of logical reasoning and problem solving.
FUN-FILLED CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL SPRINKLES PROFUSE FUN ON PRESIDIANS

Our young students recently geared up for a thrilling experience at the Rock N' Roll Carnival, organized at Presidium, Raj Nagar. The main highlights of the events were activities and competitions like fashion Mickies & Minnies, style icons & divas, little Picasso, sketch a Santa and bestie from wastie. The event also witnessed captivating musical and dance performances by the talented Presidians, their family members and other guests. With beautiful festive decorations, the spirit of Christmas came alive and the audience had a gala time.
SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON CHRISTMAS SPREADS AURA OF PLEASANT HARMONY

On the joyous occasion of Christmas, a special assembly was conducted at Presidium Raj Nagar with great fervour and excitement. The assembly commenced with a beautiful skit depicting the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem. This was accompanied by an energetic dance performance by students of grades 4 to 8. Concluding with a mellifluous musical performance by our talented Presidians, the blissful day spread the aura of pleasant harmony and completely captivated the audience and students alike.
ENVELOPE MAKING: PRESIDIANS ENHANCE CREATIVITY & LOGICAL THINKING
Origami is an ancient art form, which facilitates learning and improves special organization skills. To give our grade 2 students a hands-on experience of this beautiful art, an Envelope Making Activity was recently organized at Presidium, Raj Nagar. The Students made beautiful envelopes and decorated them using their artistic excellence. The activity helped the Presidians enhance their creativity and logical thinking. Overall it was a fruitful engagement for the Presidians!
PUMPING ENERGY LEVEL OF OUR LITTLE PRESIDIANS THROUGH FUNNY RACES

To give our grade nursery and prep students an exposure to various kinds of races in a fun-filled way, an event of Funny Races was recently organized at Presidium, Raj Nagar. The Students were amused by participating in enjoyable races like crawling race, frog race, 'collect the ball of same colour' race, sack race and hoopla race. The fantastic turnout from spectators and the pleasant weather were the perfect boost for the students. The power-packed event witnessed the cheer and exuberance of Presidians with their energy levels souring really high. On the whole, it was a memorable day for all.
SALAD MAKING:LITTLE PRESIDIANS DISCOVER THE ART OF HEALTHY EATING
To eat food is a necessity, but to eat it intelligently is an art!
To introduce healthy eating habits in grade nursery and prep students, Presidium Raj Nagar recently organized a Salad Making Activity. The young Presidians exhibited the art of making salad with effervescence. Presidians got acquainted with terms like cutting, peeling, dipping and washing, which are the initial steps in salad making and were effectively explained by the teachers through experiential learning. They also got to know about new fruits and vegetables and their artistry was revealed through the delightful and appealing salad dressings created using aromatic seasoning. It was an interesting session of lifetime learning!
SKATING COMPETITION: OUR SPORTS STARS BAG 7 GOLD, SILVER & BRONZE
Every champion was once a contender that refused to give up!
Our young Presidians have once again made us proud by their extraordinary achievements in the Skating Competition in the 12th Swabhiman Sports Festival 2017. Held on 28th November at DDA Sports Complex, this grand contest witnessed a huge participation. A total of 16 students of Presidium Raj Nagar participated in the event, out of which, 7 students won gold, silver and bronze medals in various categories. All the Students exhibited sheer confidence, determination and sportsmanship throughout the event which was appreciated by all. It was an indeed a moment of great pride as the young champions paved their way to success in the competition.

LITTLE PRESIDIANS RELISH A MELODIOUS EXPERIENCE IN VOCAL WORKSHOP

Music is an art form that touches the heart and rejuvenates the soul. To inculcate the skills which are certainly going to help the students to excel in the field of music, Presidium Raj Nagar was all set to wander in the nodes and rhythms of music. A 'Vocal Workshop' was conducted in the school premises recently to enhance the voice modulation of our young Presidians of grade 1. Making the students understand various nodes of rhythm through different types of Sargam and its variations in 'teen taal', 16 beats, the workshop was a melodious experience for all!
PRESIDIANS SHOW THEIR ARTISTIC ABILITIES IN THE SNOWMAN ACTIVITY
As the most-awaited festival of Christmas is approaching, our young Presidians of Raj Nagar got an opportunity to give vent to their imagination and show their artistic abilities keeping in mind the theme of the festival. Students enjoyed a fun-filled club activity by making bookmarks in the form of a snowman. Students played with colours and made beautiful bookmarks in their hard to contain anticipation of this beautiful festival!
SPECIAL CHILDREN OF SPARSH THANK PRESIDIANS FOR THEIR KINDNESS
Presidium Raj Nagar recently got a wonderful opportunity to be blessed by the presence of the special children of Sparsh, who came to thank their humble friends for their generous contribution on the occasion of Children's Day. Our young Presidians left no stone unturned to welcome these special guests and presented some heartfelt performances like a group song featuring spectacular acrobats, a magic show and a group dance. The students enjoyed these heart-touching performances to the core and swayed on the tunes of peppy songs. It was a moment of honour and pride as the staff and students of Presidium received acknowledgment and appreciation from the Sparsh team for their kind gesture.
