A walk in nature can give you the small dose of wilderness you need to refresh your spirit.
As a chance to learn about their environment, our little Presidians from Raj Nagar recently explored the beauty and serenity of nature. Taking the students on the walk in the woods, the 'nature walk' was a great way to soothe their minds and increase their ability to focus and concentrate. They did a simple exercise by listening closely to birds and insects. The young students also observed the wind which was moving past the different leaves and tried to hear sounds of the earth underfoot. Nature walk presented rare opportunities for first-hand learning and was thrilling for students. Teachers carried a basic field guide as our students were very interested in learning about the birds or butterflies they saw.
