Keeping this thought in mind, an Intra-Class Quiz Competition was organized by the Story Tellers Academy of Mass Communication at Presidium, Raj Nagar. The quiz aimed to promote healthy participation, build analytical and critical thinking and enhance knowledge ranging from scientific inventions to history, games and various forms of art and culture. The competition was conducted in an interactive way and the teams participated with great enthusiasm. It turned out to be a successful and fun-filled contest, wherein our young Presidians displayed ecstatic spirit.

Presidium Raj Nagar was set to deliver loads of laughs and learning in the classroom, as the competition 'Just for Laugh' called upon the little Presidians of grades nursery and prep to share their joy in the form of jokes. This initiative also included a range of resources to help teachers easily integrate the competition and comedy writing into lessons. As it was all linked back to the curriculum, the young students went home with plenty of giggles and learning.

To motivate our students of grades 1 to 3 to become effective and impressive communicators of tomorrow, Presidium Raj Nagar organized an Inter-Class Spellathon Competition. The idea was to help students improve their spellings, enhance their vocabulary, learn concepts and develop their overall linguistic skills. They participated earnestly in the competition and realised the significance of knowing correct spellings in their day-to-day reading and writing habits. Their efforts and initiative were appreciated by one and all!

Without challenge there is no innovation, creativity or incentive of improvement!

 

Considering that those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage that is inevitable, a Science Exhibition was recently organized at Presidium, Raj Nagar. The students showcased the importance of water in our life and the ways to reuse and recycle it. Starting from glaciers to sea, every form of water was worked over and displayed with its significance in the form of functional and non-functional models. The day was packed with learning for our 'leaders of tomorrow'.

Presidium strongly emphasizes Experiential Learning and encourages the use of tools and techniques to implement it. In order to promote the use of innovative ways for developing Number Sense, Mathematical Concepts and Reasoning, Presidium Raj Nagar recently organised a Maths Activity for grade 3 students, wherein they used Dienes Block to solve a division problem. The activity aimed to promote critical thinking, analytical skills and problem solving in classroom with the help of Jodo Gyan kits. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by students!

Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas in the world today!

 

Presidium aims to create a generation of 'storytellers' who can transform the world with their progressive views and thoughts. Students of grade nursery and prep recently got an opportunity to explore their innate skills in the Storytelling Competition held recently at Presidium, Raj Nagar. Participating in the fun-filled competition with great enthusiasm, the young toddlers narrated stories confidently and displayed extraordinary oratory skills. With such exposure, our little Presidians shall be front-runners in the field of communication and will  captivate the world with their exceptional talent.

In order to acknowledge and honour the victory of Annual Sports Meet achievers of Presidium Raj Nagar, a Prize Distribution Ceremony was recently organized. It was indeed a moment of great pride for the students and their mentors to witness the award ceremony for the extraordinary achievements in the field of Sports. Awarded for their utmost dedication and sportsmanship by Sudha Ma'am, the honourable chairperson of Presidium, the students were thrilled and delighted. The winners of the much sought-after award for the Best Athlete  and the Best Club Trophy were overjoyed and ecstatic after receiving the award.

Creative play and artistic activities have a central role in a toddler's learning and development!

 

To nurture imagination of the little Presidians of Raj Nagar and develop their thinking and motor skills, a table mat making activity was recently organized. The students of grades nursery and prep were overjoyed to participate in this fun-filled activity with great dynamism. With the encouragement of their loving teachers, the tiny tots came up with innovative creations. Overall, the activity was a free creative play, wherein the Presidians got to try out different ideas and learn new ways of doing things.

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru - the first Prime Minister of India, Presidium Raj Nagar recently celebrated Children’s Day with great fervour and joy. A special assembly was organized for the children of all grades, wherein the students presented a captivating group song and skit with a flair. The event concluded with a cultural dance performance by the teachers, that enlivened the entire campus. On this special occasion, there were many games and activities specially organized for the children. Pledging to continuously strive to work for the welfare of the students, the teachers added another memorable chapter in the school diaries of our Presidians.

Presidium aims to transform the lives of children by preparing them for the real world. We help them value relationships and respect all members of the society with dignity and respect. To sensitise our nursery and prep grade students towards the Community Helpers, a Helpers' Day was recently organised at Presidium, Raj Nagar. The little Presidians came dressed up as helpers like Policeman, Fireman and Security Guard. The students realized the significance of the role played by these helpers in our day to day lives and got a clear understanding of how we are interdependent in a community. The activity proved to be a fruitful one as it stimulated the imagination of young toddlers and helped them develop a feeling of empathy towards Helpers of our society.
