understanding. To inculcate the habit of studying Mathematics while enjoying it at the same time
and to make this understanding deeper, Mathematics subject activity for Grade 9 was conducted. This also helped the teachers to enrich the curriculum practices through some meaningful activity. Under the theme of Quadrilateral, students explored the properties with respect to diagonals of quadrilaterals---a parallelogram, a square, a rectangle and a rhombus. This activity was more focused towards the conceptual clarity of students about quadrilaterals. With different colours of glaze papers students cut different quadrilaterals and folded them along their respective diagonals. After cutting these quadrilaterals, they placed one triangle over the other and observed that the two superimposed triangles are congruent to each other. This helped in removing the Mathematics phobia and made it an enjoyable experience for students.
