The growth of cities and its people may spur economic growth, but it may also lead to encroachment of land that is inhabited by animals. As a result, animals may be killed to minimize their presence in the encroached area or they may become extinct due to the disruption in their natural environment and ecosystem. Tigers are one of the animals that need to get protected. Students of Presidium depicted the magnificence of tigers through art and craft-related activities including mask-making, face painting, collage-making, painting, etc. wherein they passionately put forward their views concerning the issue.

Patriotism is a social value, the feeling of patriotism is to be inculcated at school level to make sure that student becomes the responsible citizen of our Nation. To indoctrinate the spirit of patriotism and the values imparted by our Forces among the young children, the students of Presidium celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas to remember India's war victory and to pay tribute to Kargil Martyrs who are the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of the Country. The time essence of Kargil Diwas was significantly seen in the plethora of activities like Drawing, Painting, Poems, Badge Making, etc.

Presidium celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima with a lot of reverence. The school conducted a special assembly to mark the occasion with a lot of love and devotion for their Gurus. They paid respect to the teachers with their spectacular performances and sought their blessings. Teachers enlightened the students on the significance of ‘Guru Purnima’ as the school believes in inculcating traditional values in the students.

The young brigade of Presidium, once again caught the rapt attention of the audience, at the Inter-class Skit Competition. All the students were at their creative best, as there was a limit to the number of properties that could be used by each team. The powerful performances of the budding actors transported the audience to the realm of cinema. The day though was thoroughly entertaining but it was also hugely successful in providing food for thought. The topics for the event were carefully chosen and mirrored the concerns of society at large. It was a novice experience, as the titles of the plays were selected out of some popularly known idioms, around which the students crafted a storyline intelligently and appropriately. Although the event was competitive in nature, the thunderous applause that each one of them received by the gathering was testimony to the fact that each one of them was a winner, as all the plays had conveyed a powerful message.

Nelson Mandela, the inspirational Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, personifies the way in which the human spirit can triumph over hate and evil by embracing peace and reconciliation, in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. Students of Presidium paid homage to the great leader by celebrating ‘International Nelson Mandela Day.' The participants put up an exuberant show and accentuated that individuals can challenge unjust systems and create fairer societies by exploring Nelson Mandela’s struggle against apartheid. Everyone was enthralled with the captivating performance. They were filled with awe and realized that he was an incredibly selfless man who played a major role in rewriting the history of South Africa. The event ended with thoughtful words by the teachers who motivated the students to become more responsible and further added that the world needs more leaders like Nelson Mandela- sacrificing, dedicated, and focused. We should consider ourselves lucky to have been born in an era in which Mandela existed.
