Presidium celebrated National Youth Day on the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary. On the occasion various activities like poster making, slogan-writing were organized. Teachers also organized a discussion on the topic “Role of Youth in Nation Building” in which various students and faculty members put forward their thoughts. Teachers stated that having sound character is as important as being self-dependent for the youths and every nation has an opportunity when a maximum number of youths represents its demography and only this phase helps the nation attain maximum prosperity. They motivated the students to follow the path of Swami Vivekananda by quoting several instances from his life.

Lohri was celebrated at Presidium with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The mood on the campus was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. Special activities were conducted in which all the students participated. The teachers joined them with the hope that the coming year would bring happiness to the lives of the students. They emphasized that Lohri festival prompts people to be thankful for God’s provision and also encouraged students to play a vital role to keep the tradition and culture alive in our festivities.

Taekwondo is a recognized Olympic sport that not only builds strength, stamina, and flexibility rather greatly improves one's overall fitness and well-being. At Presidium, we believe in nurturing leaders of tomorrow. Young prodigies of Presidium participated in 16th Sub Junior Taekwondo Championship organized at Laxman Public School, Hauz Khas, South Delhi. The event extended an opportunity to the budding Taekwondo enthusiasts to demonstrate Kicking and Punching. The event provided a platform for the students to showcase their skills.

Creativity sharpens the mind, gives multiple ideas for saving the environment, recycling waste products, etc. Presidium has organized a Puppet Making Competition which has encouraged the students to brush up their creative skills by making innovative and alluring puppets which has provided students the opportunity to demonstrate their ideas and imagination. The objective was to acquaint the students with utilizing the waste material by using their creativity. Students used different and beautiful ideas for making the puppets. They used tear-colored socks, ice-cream sticks, disposable glasses, waste cold drink bottles, etc. Few students prepared the dialogues and presented talking puppets. The students were quite enthusiastic and had great fun during the whole competition.

On the occasion of Christmas, Presidium organized various activities for students of all classes. The celebration commenced with the online prayer meeting. The students watched a short film based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Tiny tots decorated the Christmas tree at home. They had decorated the tree with bells, stockings, candles and gifts in a creative fashion. The students showed their enthusiasm by making wind chimes, dressing up as Santa and many more. Teachers applauded the students for their efforts and wished everyone Merry Christmas.

Presidium organized various activities to celebrate Kissan Diwas to acquaint the students with understanding the significance of Farmer’s Day. The students did various activities depicting various steps involved in the irrigation process, from the preparation of soil for farming to the final harvest of the crop. They also showed the significance of farming and farmers. Teachers spoke to students about the importance of farmers in our country and their contribution to our day-to-day lives.
