PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE SCIENCE WEEK WITH THE THEME ‘FUTURE EARTH’
The Earth is boiling; the ocean is full of plastic; there is a shortage of freshwater; the humans are undermining the living conditions for several species on Earth, and we are facing major social challenges. With an aim to create awareness about these conditions Presidium Rajnagar organized Science Week with the theme ‘Future Earth’, where the students of grades 4 to 9 were provided a platform to showcase their innovative ideas and creativity in the form of 3D posters, models, etc. on topics like ‘Ecosystem, Habitat and Biodiversity’, ‘Consumption and Waste’ and ‘Renewable and Non-renewable Energy’. An array of excellent models and thought provoking posters were made, bringing forth the ideas and talents of the students. The Science Week not only helped in enhancing creativity among students but also the knowledge about the Earth today and possible outcomes in the future.
PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE CHILDREN’S DAY WITH FRIENDS & TEACHERS
Children’s Day was celebrated at Presidium with an aim to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children. Presidians also paid homage to ‘Chacha Nehru’ who considered children as the future of the nation and citizens of tomorrow. A special assembly was organized to make the students feel special. The assembly began with prayers thanking the Lord for his blessings, followed by speech, dance, song and skit. Teachers also prepared a special act for the students. The day was all about celebrating childhood and fun. Students danced and sang, celebrating the day with their classmates and teachers.
DIWALI: PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE THE VICTORY OF LIGHT OVER DARKNESS
The festival of lights, Diwali, was celebrated with traditional fervour at Presidium,Raj Nagar. Presidians participated in a special assembly and apprised the audience about the festival, which marks the triumph of light over darkness and the beginning of the Hindu new year. They also highlighted the significance of this important day and took turns to speak about this day when Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya after 14 years in exile. Students were encouraged to celebrate an eco friendly Diwali and refrain themselves from burning crackers so as to create a clean environment. Students enthusiastically danced on foot tapping music, recited poems on Diwali and exchanged sweets and gifts with friends and teachers. The assembly came to a close with school song and National anthem.
PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE THE SPOOKY FESTIVAL OF HALLOWEEN!
Halloween is an annual holiday celebrated each year on October 31. It originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. Over time, Halloween evolved into a day of activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, festive gatherings, donning costumes and eating sweet treats. Presidians celebrated this spooky festival in a grand and innovative manner with spell binding dance performances and enchanting presentations. The students dressed up in various costumes and were excited to go trick or treating to various classes. It was an assembly to remember!
PRESIDIANS CONDUCT A SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON 'CANCER AWARENESS DAY'
‘Cancer can touch you, but not your soul; neither your thoughts, nor your heart’. Presidium Raj Nagar recently organized a special assembly on Cancer Awareness Day. The event commenced with prayer followed by a speech on symptoms and signs of cancer, risk factors, attitude towards help-seeking, awareness of the link between cancer and age and so on… The senior students presented an eye-opening skit and an inspirational musical performance for which they were appreciated by one and all. A feeling of empathy was witnessed among the Presidians as they shared their experiences related to cancer patients. It was a wonderful experience and the day came to an end on a learning note.
YOUNG PHILANTHROPISTS SPEND A DAY WITH THEIR SPECIAL FRIENDS

Our budding philanthropist of Presidium Raj Nagar recently visited their special friends at India’s 5th best special school, Sparsh Special School. The special students warmly welcomed them with hugs. Together, they indulged in many conversation and activities. They were touched to witness how the special students are getting great education at Sparsh and also learning to become independent. The Presidians promised to contribute towards the noble initiative and returned with lifetime bond of friendships.
TALENT HUNT BRINGS OUT THE TALENTS OF THE YOUNG PRESIDIANS
‘Your Talent is God’s gift to you, what you do with it is your gift back to God.’ An exciting Inter- Club Talent Hunt Competition was recently organised at Presidium Rajnagar. The motive behind conducting such an event was to provide a platform to the young Presidians for showcasing and presenting their hidden talents confidently. Unmatchable talent was shown by the budding artists of Presidium through Dances, Poem recitation, story-telling and singing competition. It is indeed the best platform for the budding talents. It is joyful and overwhelming to witness such efforts put in by the students.
YOUNG DEBATERS DISPLAY THEIR RHETORICAL SKILLS WITH CONFIDENCE
‘You can sway a thousand men by appealing to their prejudices quicker than you can convince one man
by logic.’ Debate is one of the academic activities that give students creative room to express what they feel. The length and breadth of knowledge that they gain through this is simply amazing. Presidium Raj Nagar has set the benchmark for conducting activities in such a way that the students not only enjoy but also learn a great deal from it. With the same perspective in view, the Inter- Class Debate Competition was recently organised. The teams were well prepared and displayed their rhetorical skills The participants, armed with statistics and data validated and made their arguments more emphatic with right facial expressions, body movements and gestures. All the teams exhibited great oratorical skills. They put in tremendous hard work to showcase their hidden talent. The debaters displayed confidence in presenting their arguments before audience and a panel of eminent jury members.
DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION: PRESIDIANS INVOKE THE BLESSINGS OF LORD RAMA
Students of Presidium Raj Nagar conducted a special assembly to celebrate the festival of Dussehra. The students enacted scenes from Ramayana depicting important event from the life of Lord Rama. A dance performance depicting the triumph of good over evil mesmerized everyone. Students talked about the relevance of celebrating such festivals and the lessons they can learn from the lives of such mythological figures. It was a wonderful assembly wherein the students learned about the culture and traditions of our country.
PRESIDIANS BRING OUT THEIR CREATIVITY WITH ‘BEST OUT OF WASTE’
With an aim to build creative expression among the students, Presidium Raj Nagar recently organised a ‘Best out of Waste Activity’ for the students of grade 1 to 3. The students brought reusable items like ice cream sticks, buttons, newspapers and bangles to create wonderful art works. They were also taught about the importance of reusing and recycling items for the protection of mother earth. The beautiful artworks were appreciated by the teachers and the students were applauded for their efforts and creativity.
